  • What is Stone Veneer Sheet?

Stone Veneer Sheet is a flexible stone veneer. JUSTONE Stone Veneer Sheet is primarily composed of natural stone powder and quartz sand, produced through proprietary processes. Its color is inherent to the stone powder, without any color paste added, and features the texture, effect, and physical-chemical properties of natural stone.

  • What are the differences between it and coatings/real stone paint?

JUSTONE Stone Veneer Sheet uses basically the same raw material as real stone paint—natural quartz sand—but adheres to higher standards. It is an industrial product cured and formed under standard conditions via special processes. Due to differences in temperature, pressure, and curing environment, even excluding human factors in on-site material formulation and construction, its performance is far superior to on-site sprayed real stone paint. It has a denser and more uniform structure with fuller film formation, resulting in qualitative differences in both appearance and inherent performance. It is not comparable to ordinary coatings at all.

  • What are the differences between it and natural stone?

In terms of visual and tactile feel, it is almost identical to natural stone, but it only weighs 1/20 of natural stone, making it much safer. Natural stone is a rigid material that deforms due to thermal expansion and contraction, generating shear force between the stone and the wall, which may lead to sudden falling accidents. In contrast, Stone Veneer Sheet, with its flexibility, can absorb such shear force and prevent sudden falling. Early warnings, such as bulging or edge warping of the veneer, allow for timely detection and preventive measures. Even if it falls, its lightweight and thin characteristics minimize potential damage.

  • How firm is the adhesion to the wall?

Both the Stone Veneer Sheet and the adhesive mortar are flexible, capable of absorbing shear force caused by wall thermal expansion and contraction—the main cause of natural stone and ceramic tile detachment. Unlike the sudden, unforeseen fall of stone or tiles, Stone Veneer Sheet's adhesion status can be monitored through signs of bulging or edge warping, enabling proactive maintenance. Even in the event of falling, its lightweight and thin properties result in a gentle arc trajectory, minimizing harm. Meanwhile, we use special waterproof polymer adhesive mortar with a bonding strength of 800kPa, far exceeding the national standard of 600kPa, ensuring reliable adhesion.

  • How to address building settlement or cracking issues?

Firstly, we select flexible bonding mortar. Additionally, the Stone Veneer Sheet itself has a certain degree of elasticity and is reinforced with an internal mesh. Each sheet has an area not exceeding 0.6㎡, with silicone sealant filling the gaps between sheets. This structure can fully resist substrate microcracks and other stress-induced cracks (excluding major structural cracks).

  • What is the service life?

High-quality real stone paint typically has a service life of 10-15 years, while JUSTONE Stone Veneer Sheet is guaranteed to last 20 years. The longest service life of similar products has exceeded 20 years with minimal wear.

  • What are the construction processes and plans for different surfaces?

    Construction Process:

    • Substrate leveling
    • Anti-alkali primer application (for new walls)
    • Snap line marking
    • Adhesive mortar application
    • Stone Veneer Sheet installation
    • Joint treatment
    • Completion

    Joint Treatment Methods:

    • Direct jointing with adhesive mortar during installation
    • Grout or sealant application

    Common Construction Surfaces:

    • Cement substrate
    • Existing ceramic tile substrate
    • Existing coating substrate
    • Wooden substrate
    • Steel structure, etc.
Standard construction processes apply to most surfaces. For special substrates like steel structures, we provide specialized base materials. For old wall renovation, Stone Veneer Sheet can be directly installed on the existing wall after checking for hollowing or peeling—hollow/peeling areas must be removed before construction.
  • Is the construction convenient?

Yes, construction is highly convenient. Stone Veneer Sheet can be cut with a utility knife and directly adhered to the wall, with a construction capacity of 30-40㎡ per worker per day.

  • What is the fire rating?

Certified by authoritative testing institutions, it holds a fire rating of Class A2 with corresponding test reports.

  • Is it waterproof?

The water absorption rate of Stone Veneer Sheet is 8%, meeting national standards. Additionally, the bonding mortar becomes waterproof once fully cured, and the veneer surface is coated with a waterproof topcoat for enhanced protection.
